Principality Commercial completes another successful development
A luxurious care-home facility supported by Principality Building Society’s Commercial team, has opened its doors on the old St Winefride’s site in Pontcanna, Cardiff.
Tŷ Llandaff, marks another successful project for the team who deliver a number of tailored commercial property funding solutions across the UK.
Work began at the landmark site back in 2007, where the construction of 14 houses and 10 apartments was completed last year. The development created 40 construction jobs, and the Tŷ Llandaff care home has created a further 80 jobs since opening.
The luxury care home is complete with a home cinema, piano bar, hair salon, gym, spa and on-site chef.

2017 is set to be another busy year for the Principality Commercial team with work progressing on a diverse range of projects including a 95-bed student accommodation in Cardiff, a development of industrial units in Chepstow, and multiple residential developments in England and Wales including an eco-village development in St Fagans.
At the end of 2016, Principality Commercial announced the appointment of three new senior managers to their business.
Principality Commercial provides funding for the acquisition and re-financing of investment properties such as offices, industrial, retail, and residential. They also fund residential developments and commercial developments, the latter only against a pre-sale or pre-let.
