Principality announces new Head of Continuous Improvement
Principality Building Society has appointed Dean Williams into a new role as its Head of Continuous Improvement.
Wales’ largest building society has created the position to facilitate and support the embedding of a Continuous Improvement culture across Principality, whilst delivering consistent repeatable processes and mitigating cost increases to drive improvements for Principality’s colleagues and customers.
Dean, who is from Bridgend, has held a range of Continuous Improvement roles including Head of Process Engineering for Sony Manufacturing UK, Head of Business Transformation and Head of Business Change for Lloyds TSB General Insurance, Head of Continuous Improvement for Lloyds Life, Pensions and Investment and Head of Continuous Improvement for Lloyds Bank Insurance Division.
In his new role Dean will we responsible for Principality’s new Continuous Improvement team which will look at improving efficiency and effectiveness across the business.
Steve Hughes, Principality’s Group Finance Director, said: “With his proven track record, I have every confidence in Dean to successfully facilitate and support the embedding of a Continuous Improvement culture at Principality.
“In his role he will be responsible for mitigating costs through customer-focused continuous improvements to help ensure we achieve our 2018 vision. We are a very customer-focused business, a fact confirmed by our staff and customers, and we hope that through an ethos of continuous improvement we will keep building on this reputation.”
Commenting on his appointment, Dean said: “After eight years with Lloyds, I am very excited to be joining the Principality Group. I am really looking forward to working with the team, which will contribute to the delivery of the Principality strategic ambition and it’s a bonus to be doing that close to home.”
Dean is married and has three grown up children.
