Principality serves up new sponsorship for tennis club
Principality’s Haverfordwest branch has helped Milford Haven Tennis Club to put on new lessons for junior tennis players.
Last year the Haverfordwest branch of Wales’ largest building society helped Haverfordwest Tennis Club and has now extended its support to youngsters in Milford Haven.
Principality Building Society’s Haverfordwest branch manager Elizabeth Moss, said: “We are proud to support the communities in which we operate and our Members live and we are delighted to have the opportunity to give something back to them.
“I recently went along to one of the juniors’ sessions, and for many of the young players it was their first experience of playing tennis. We hope that with our support many more youngsters will take up the sport.”
Mike Lee, Milford Haven Tennis Club coach, said: “We can’t thank Principality enough for the support they have given us as it will make a fantastic difference to our group. We hope that with these extra sessions we will get more children playing tennis in Milford Haven.”
In the last few months Principality has supported a number of similar community groups and organisations including Llantwit Major surf life savers with new rash vests, Birchgrove Primary School with new football goals after a fire and golf classes in Conwy.
The junior sessions run on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings, and adults play on Monday evenings - new members welcome. Any queries can be directed to Mike Lee on 07535 320544, email@example.com or Queenie Scale on 07814 122443.
