Lionel said:
“I had such a great time in the UK this year and I can’t wait to visit new places and meet new people. Performing at Glastonbury for the first time was such a thrill for me and given me an appetite to do new things in the UK. I know these shows are going to be very special. It’ll be the first time I’ll have been to Colwyn Bay and I can’t wait.”

The UK fell back in love with Lionel last year following a tour that received glittering re-views and culminated in a phenomenal Glastonbury performance. After drawing the biggest crowd of the weekend with over 100,000 people flocking to the Pyramid Stage, Lionel’s album ‘The Definitive Collection’ reached Number One on the UK album charts for the first time in 23 years.

“Over the last five years this event has gone from strength to strength, evident in the quality of artists. Events are so important to our County as they support our Economic Driver – the Tourism Industry and boost income for many of our small business providers. We can’t wait to offer Lionel Richie our unique warm, Welsh welcome!”
