Principality Commercial supports more homebuyers across Wales with latest Davies Homes venture
Homebuyers in South Wales now have more high quality homes in their grasp as work gains pace on a new housing development in the heart of the region.
The development, Nant Seren, is being delivered by Davies Homes with financial assistance from Principality Commercial, the commercial arm of Principality Building Society. Nant Seren, built in Church Village, Rhondda Cynon Taff, will include a range of three to five bedroom houses.
The scheme includes 50 semi-detached and detached new homes, 40 of which will be private, while 10 will be classed as affordable housing. Principality Commercial will be supporting 20 of the plots in the first phase of the development which is set for completion throughout 2015/2016. House prices will start at £184,950.
Nicola Crocker, Relationship Manager at Principality Commercial, spoke of the new development, “We are excited to be supporting Davies Homes on this fantastic development which will bring new and affordable housing to the South Wales valleys.
“At Principality we are committed to seeing more people get onto the property ladder, and the 50 houses in this development will provide more opportunity for this to happen. Our commercial work will continue to help in ensuring that the housing market delivers homes for the people of Wales.”
The show home property at the Nant Seren development is now available for viewing and the second phase of the development is due for completion during 2016/2017.
Matthew Davies, from Davies Homes also commented, “These exclusive homes will suit the needs of first-time buyers, those with a growing family or people looking to downsize. In the current housing market, we’re committed to providing new and affordable homes in Wales. We appreciate Principality Commercial’s support of the development and helping it become a reality.”
