Swansea youngsters bowled over by new kits
Youngsters at a Swansea cricket club have been bowled over by new kits from Principality Building Society.
Wales’ largest building society supplied the juniors at Ynystawe Cricket Club with new kits as part of Principality’s Kit of the Month competition.
Leigh Jones, Principality’s Morriston branch manager, said: “We are proud to be at the heart of our communities throughout Wales and the borders and we always try to give something back to them and our Members.
“Ynystawe are fantastic winners of the competition and we hope we are able to help a number of our local sports teams to really look the part this year as they continue to provide such valuable support to our communities.”
Phil Rowe the Chairman of Ynystawe Cricket Club, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the support that Principality has given us. We have junior teams ranging from under 9s to under 15s and the girls and boys at the club were desperate for kits, to make them feel part of the team.
“After 25 years of bringing junior cricket to the youngsters in our community the support from Principality can help us continue for many years to come. We are delighted that thanks to the community support from Principality our youngsters can do so in style.”
Every month one sports team from around Wales and the borders is selected to win a new kit from Principality up to the value of £500.
If you want to apply all you have to do is visit one of Principality’s 53 branches or 18 agencies around Wales and the borders.
