Principality launches broker case tracking service
Principality Building Society has streamlined its service for brokers with the launch of an online case tracking tool that will allow intermediaries to monitor the progress of individual mortgage applications.
The online service, Brokerpoint, will allow brokers to track customer applications in real-time, making the process much simpler, particularly when keeping up with the application progress.
Once brokers login to the online tool, they can either choose to view their Principality portfolio of cases or simply enter the customer’s surname and mortgage enquiry number to pull up detailed updates on specific cases.
Brokerpoint splits the application process into five simple stages: submitted, underwriting, offered, awaiting completion and complete. The tool will inform brokers exactly what stage the application is at and if we have sent a request for further information.
The tool will be accessible through the intermediaries section of Principality’s website for registered brokers.
Shaun Middleton, Head of Regulatory Sales at Principality said: “Launching broker case tracking is part of our ongoing plan for service excellence, to streamline and improve our service for brokers. The new service will be available to brokers at any time of day allowing them to get updates simply and quickly. We hope the tool will save brokers time and keep them better informed at every stage of the process.”
Wales’ largest building society launched the new service based on continuous broker feedback about products, criteria and service, with the aim of allowing brokers to easily and efficiently access application details
Philip Williams, Director of Eastside Insurance FS said: “It’s great to see that Principality have listened to our feedback and developed a case tracking system. My clients always want to know the valuation figure and this system enables me to provide them with this information outside working hours making it even easier to work with Principality.”Over the last 18 months, Principality has introduced a range of development to its broker arm, including adding more underwriters to its Mortgage New Business Centre and further resource to its dedicated intermediary support desk. In 2017, Principality has announced it will look to employ more Business Development Managers to ensure key brokers can have face-to-face engagement with the Society when required.
