Principality’s intermediaries create key appointment in the home counties
Principality Building Society’s intermediaries division has made a fundamental appointment to its business development team continuing its aspiring growth plans.
Zeenat Shaffi has joined Principality as a field based Business Development Manager for the home counties, enhancing the BDM team to nine spanning across the UK. Zeenat brings 12 years’ experience in financial services with her, predominately dealing with mortgages and key relationships in and around London.
Zeenat’s role will be fundamental to supporting brokers in the home counties, handling individual application scenarios and ensuring that brokers have a successful experience working with Principality. She will also be responsible for building Principality’s brand within this region.
Speaking of her appointment, Zeenat said: “I am delighted to join Principality as a BDM at a time when the Society is investing in strengthening its relationships with brokers and growing its presence in the English market. I’m looking forward to implementing its existing customer eccentric culture, and growing our reputation among our broker community.”
Principality Building Society’s National Accounts Manager of Field Business Development, Frances Hayter, said: “Thanks to a focused growth strategy, our intermediaries arm is expanding, allowing us to target key markets across the UK and deliver a quality service to brokers. It’s really important to the Society to have excellent people and provide that human service and personal touch. Zeenat’s appointment will add experience and talent to our emergent team to help implement this growth strategy.”
