Supporting our charity partners

From January 2019 and for the next three years, we are delighted to be supporting two outstanding charities - the Teenage Cancer Trust Cymru (registered charity no 1062559) and Alzheimer’s Society Cymru (registered charity no 296645). Both charities are paving the way with research, treatment and care, so no one has to face cancer and dementia alone.

The funding raised for Alzheimer’s Society will support their Dementia Connect Service, which provides support, guidance and advice for people with all types of dementia, their families and carers. The funds raised for the Teenage Cancer Trust will provide out reach nurses to allow specialist support for young people living with cancer in rural Wales.

Because no one should face

dementia alone, we're

raising funds to ensure

support is only a call away

Companion Calls

A temporary addition to Dementia Connect to help people with dementia and their carers feel more connected and less lonely during the coronavirus crisis. Trained volunteers make regular phone calls to check in and have a friendly chat about anything the person they’re calling fancies.

Our colleagues have been signing up to the programme and Alzheimer’s Society provide the training and match them to a companion.
