Principality ranked as a top lender for underwriting services

Principality Building Society has been named as a top lender for aspects of its underwriting and lending services, following independent research of brokers.

Among users, the Society ranked top for having access to someone with underwriting knowledge and using common sense on decisions, against 14 other lenders in the UK. 

Conducted by independent research company Savanta, the survey interviewed over 300 intermediary establishments during September to December 2019, including 101 establishments who had placed a case with Principality over the last quarter. The mutual also scored above average for ‘overall performance’, as well as scoring highly for its prompt processing of applications, sticking to decisions in principle and for ease of uploading additional information when processing a case.
