Mortgage Payment Holiday Support

Next steps

If you have already applied for a Mortgage Payment Holiday with us, you will receive a letter two weeks before it’s due to end that outlines your new monthly repayments. You can also explore your options, including how to make overpayments, reduced payments or request an extension to your current payment holiday. If you have not yet received a letter from us, but need to request an extension to your current payment holiday now, please click the green button below.

Your Options

Restarting your mortgage payments

If you’re coming to the end of your mortgage payment holiday and are comfortable with your new monthly payment, you should restart your mortgage payments. This will avoid accruing more interest and any further increases to your monthly payments. You can access more detail on restarting your mortgage. Please visit our Restarting Payments page to find out more.

Making an overpayment

If you're in a better financial position after your mortgage payment holiday then we’re really pleased that your circumstances have improved. You can make overpayments (regularly or as a lump sum) to your mortgage account to cover your missed payments. Please visit our Overpayments page to find out more.

Payment Holidays, Reduced Payments, Term Extensions and Additional Support

We understand that COVID-19 continues to affect some of our Members. If you have already applied for a Mortgage Payment Holiday and would like to understand your options, or request a further extension, please click the green button.
