I'm directly affected by coronavirus and I may have issues making my next mortgage payment

We understand these are difficult times and so if you need ongoing support with your mortgage or are worried about your finances as a result of COVID-19, we can explore a range of options with you. Please complete our Budget Planner and we will call you within five working days to discuss your options with you, based on your individual needs.

How do I switch my mortgage rate?

If you're coming to the end of your current deal, you can see what rates are available to you and switch your mortgage rate online. You will need your mortgage account number, sort code and DOB.

If you would prefer to speak to an advisor, you can give us a call on 0330 333 4030 or get in touch with your mortgage broker directly.

Please note: You do not need to register for your account if you are just wanting to change your rate online.

I need to make a mortgage repayment, can I do this online?

Yes, you can make mortgage repayments online via bank transfers. When paying directly from your bank, including by standing order, please quote the following details:
Account Number : 90653535
Sort Code : 20-18-23
Reference : Your Mortgage Account Number (excluding the dashes)

Overpayments
You can also make overpayments, there are two types of overpayments allowed: An overpayment allowance, and an overpayment following a Mortgage Payment Holiday

On all non-flexible residential and Buy To Let mortgages there is an overpayment allowance of 10% of the outstanding balance (as at January 1st) per calendar year.

If you have had a payment holiday and would like to make overpayments to cover the missed payments, you can do so in addition to the standard 10% annual allowance.

We will not send confirmation of your overpayment, however you will see the overpayment made on the transaction history of your annual statement.
Please note, if you overpay more than your annual 10% allowance and payment holiday allowance combined, you may incur an Early Repayment Charge.

Ways to make a repayment
There are many ways you can make a repayment, or an overpayment. You can:

  • Set up a standing order
  • Make a payment over the phone
  • Pop into branch to pay by cash or cheque
  • Post a cheque to us
  • Complete an online bank transfer

Please note: if you have more than one mortgage account, call us to make the payment.

Can I view my mortgage balance online?

You can view your mortgage balance and recent transactions on our online service Your Account. Just login and you will see all of your live accounts.
If you're not registered for Your Account, you can register to access all of your accounts online in one place.
