Trusted by over 500,000 members across the UK.
Our savings and mortgages services both have gold ribbons from Fairer Finance. Plus we rank in the top 10 providers for 'Trust' in Fairer Finance's Customer Experience Ratings for Savings.
Ready to become a member? All you need to do is have a savings account or mortgage with us and you're in!
As a member, you can have your say, and vote at our Annual General Meeting. To be eligible to vote you just need to be 18 or over with at least £100 in your savings account or owe at least £100 on your mortgage on 31 December of the previous year. Curious about the finer details? Visit our corporate governance pages and read our Society Rules.
We follow Consumer Duty rules to make sure we’re doing all we can to deliver fair value and good outcomes to support our members.
We're regulated by the PRA and FCA, which means we're legally required to follow these rules to put your interests first, keep your money secure and make sure things are fair.
But we don't follow these rules just because they're a requirement, we follow them simply because it's the right thing to do. Looking after our members is a choice we're proud to make.
As a building society, we keep some of our profit aside to stay financially strong for the future. The rest goes straight back into doing what matters: improving our products and services, offering competitive mortgage and savings rates, and supporting the communities we’re part of. That includes our charity partnerships and initiatives like the Future Generations Fund, which helps create better opportunities for young people.
Our impact (on the pitch and beyond)
We invest in making a lasting impact on communities. That means forging partnerships that go beyond the moment and leave a legacy.
Whether that's our headline sponsorship of the iconic Principality stadium. Or local partnerships, charity initiatives, or supporting grassroots rugby.
We're committed to having a positive impact on the communities that matter to our members.
