How we helped

We are proud to support emerging developers who bring fresh energy and ambition to the housing market. 

The project, Wick Bridge Barns in Bremhill, Calne, involves the conversion of two traditional barns into spacious, contemporary five-bedroom homes offering quality light and spacious living. A new client, Drewett Developments, led by Will Drewett, came to us through our enquiry line, and we quickly built a strong working relationship. Our responsive approach, fast decision-making and ability to release funds efficiently are qualities that helped keep their project moving smoothly.

The development incorporated an air source heating system, aligning with our 2025 priority to support more sustainable homes. This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to working efficiently to better serve customers and fund high-quality developments that contribute to our aim of funding homes across the UK.

Wick Bridge Barns is located in the picturesque village of Bremhill, just outside Calne in Wiltshire. It has excellent transport links between Calne and Chippenham. The development consists of two converted five-bedroom homes that retain the character of the original barns, including exposed beams and rustic charm, while integrating modern comforts and sustainable features. 

The homes have been recently completed and enhance the local housing stock, complementing the surrounding cluster of homes in this idyllic semi-rural setting.
