Transforming Windsor Court into student accommodation in Cardiff city centre

Principality Commercial has provided funding to local developers TVE Group to  support the redevelopment of Windsor Court on Queen Street, Cardiff.

The vacant office floors will be brought back into use as The Crest on Windsor purpose-built student accommodation in the heart of the city.

Home to Cardiff University and Cardiff Metropolitan University,  the city faces a shortage of student accommodation.  Developments like these play an important role in increasing the supply in the city-centre.

The Crest on Windsor provides 96 student beds with the potential to increase to 113. In addition to student bedrooms, the development offers an excellent range of on-site shared spaces designed to enhance the living experience. These include social and lounge areas, a gym, games room, laundry facilities and bicycle storage.

Building possibilities with local developers

The development reflects Principality Commercial’s continued commitment to supporting property investment and the regeneration of high streets in Wales and England.

The project is being delivered by an experienced local team including TVE Group, Intelle Construction and Expedite, bringing together strong development, contracting and project delivery expertise.
