Principality achieves Cycle Friendly Employer Gold Award

Principality Building Society are celebrating Bike Week, with the news that they have achieved a Cycle Friendly Employer Gold Award from Cycling UK. 

The accreditation audits employers on their efforts to make their organisation cycle friendly. It is a recognition of their endeavours to foster an inclusive and sustainable workplace. CFE-UK is only awarded to organisations that have exemplary cycle-friendly facilities.

Tony Smith, Chief Governance Officer at Principality, said: “We’re proud to have achieved this award in recognition of our continued efforts to make Principality a cycle friendly organisation. Cycling has so many great benefits, it’s good for both physical and mental health, as well as providing an environmentally friendly commute to the office.”  

Andrew Allison, Workplaces Project Manager at Cycling UK, said: “We’re thrilled to announce Principality Building Society are an accredited gold Cycle Friendly Employer. The organisation has demonstrated they have gone above and beyond to introduce and nurture a cycling culture that supports employees and contributes to a sustainable workplace by providing information to employees, safe and secure bike storage, frequent cycling-related activities and challenges, as well as support for staff health and wellness.
